Instrument Sampler

What instrument should we start with?

As children leave our Parent & Child classes, parents often ask "What's next?"

Children ages 4-8 are at a prime age to start to play musical instruments. We will introduce your child to the piano, violin, cello, ukulele, guitar and other instruments, helping you decide which instrument is a good starting place for your child.

We encourage parents to get in on the action.

The classes are taught by music teachers specializing in each instrument. This will give you and your child a chance to hear the instruments played live by musicians who know their instruments. Also, you will get to know the teachers, so that if your child continues with that teacher, you will know the teacher before starting lessons or classes.

Children watch and listen ... and then they Play!

"Where do we go from here?"

As children sample the different instruments, they demonstrate clear desires, aptitudes and motivation to learn particular instruments. We will be able to guide you to the next step, based on your child's interests and abilities.
